On 08.20.2015 Rick J Corbett of Rick’s Re-screen & Pool Enclosure of Holly Hill Florida stopped by offering to replace 3 panels of a pool enclosure. He was paid $120.00 to redo these three panels.

After rescreening those three panels he suggested that he should rescreen the entire enclosure stating that the screen on it now is deteriorating and weak. He quoted a price of $1300.00 to fully rescreen the enclosure and replace the bottom screws with a lifetime warranty on the screws. On 08.20.2015 he was given a check in the amount of $350.00 to purchase materials.

Before any of the new panels were up Rick Corbett suggested that the job should be postponed due to a storm coming through the area in the next couple of days. Waiting a few days was fine, however Rick requested that he receive payment that day for the balance of the work. He was told No, and if he wanted to receive payment for the job, he needed to complete the job. Rick Corbett decided to finish the job rather than going with his suggestion of waiting for the storm.

Rick Corbett received his final payment and left. After inspecting the job after it stopped raining it was realized that the job was not completed. The panels were not individually screened although that’s the proper way to screen in an enclosure and the first three panels were done this way.  It is now weak and will not hold up for long. He removed the (3) panels that he previously did individually and replaced them again by rolling the screen down and securing the outside only.

They also did not replace ANY screws, which were promised in their contract.  Rather than replacing ANY screws, they drilled new holes into the enclosure leaving the old screws that needed replaced.  He also did not put in any new screws in the holes he drilled out.  Please see Images.

After calling Richard Corbett to ask him if he could come back by and repair the screen enclosure he responded very defensive and angry stating that he is the professional. After numerous phone calls and messages Rick Corbett of Rick’s Rescreening & Enclosures has yet to come by and repair the screen enclosure and replace the screws. It has now been over a month and we have yet to see any co-operation from Rick and his team.
